Fantastic way to spend our honeymoon here in Wanaka. The cottage was amazing in presentation. We loved drinking champagne by the fire watching movies. The personal touches like the welcome card, chockies on the bed, muffins and yummy jams in the fridge made us feel welcome, relaxed and comfortable from the moment we arrived.

We had an amazing stay in "The House" for 5 nights in August 2010.  The house was clean and very well presented on arrival.  The owners attention to detail with furniture and fittings made the house feel very warm and welcoming.  Everything was well catered for and the photos on the web page, do not do the property justice,however what a lovely suprise to arrive with even more than you expected.

A beautiful place to meet up with all the children and grandchildren.  Over the house and cottage there was no room or spa or TV unused! We had a wonderful time. Wow, what a stunning property! For someone a little tired of hotel rooms this was the perfect tonic. An absolutely stunning property that made you feel as if you were right out in the countryside despite being just a minute or so from town by car. Relaxing in the spa after a hard day of snowboarding, with the views over the mountains and the birds chirping, was fantastic. Loved the feeling of being at home while on holidays and that view each morning from the loft bedroom --- ahh, I miss it!

This is just a short note to say how much we enjoyed the  house: it was everything we hoped for, and then some! Gorgeous is an understatement. Everything about the house was absolutely just right and we were all totally bowled over! What attention to detail! We practically felt like house guests, and we were very very sorry to leave. There is no doubt where we will stay when we are next in Wanaka. So, from all of us, a big thumbs up and big thank you for helping make our holiday that much more special.

Wanaka Cottage is a great place to stay...I was just amazed at the view, the interior and the little extras that we got. Having good accommodation is very important to me and the cottage ticked all the boxes.  Thoroughly enjoyed the spa sipping champagne and enjoying the amazing view.  If I ever come back to Wanaka this cottage is top of my list.

My wife and I and our two sons stayed two nights in the Wanaka Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed it.  It is conveniently located just outside of Wanaka with spectacular views of the mountains.  You could walk to town, but it is more likely a drive.  There is a wonderful (hidden from view) cafe less than 100m away however.  The cottage is nearly new and was spotless with high end furnishings and fixtures throughout. It was the nicest place we stayed on our two week tour of the South Island and we made a point of staying in nice places.  We hope to be back for a longer stay sometime (soon).

What an absolute pleasure!! We had a glorious stay at the Wanaka house - every single detail is truly 5 star and we loved sitting in the spa at night looking at the snow-capped mountains. The Wanaka House was absolutely beautiful, it was warm, comfortable and had everything we needed; it really was a home from home!  I can't think of anything to improve this accommodation it was truly fantastic.  I have stayed in many Condos in Canada all of which have been of a high standard, Wanaka House was definitely up there with the best internationally!
